arches

I had the great fortune to score a last minute timed entry ticket to Arches NP on my way out of Utah on Sunday, so I stopped through as I departed Moab. As has been the case on so many parts of this trip, I took the advice of a friend (Nicole Passeri) and went directly for the Delicate Arch hike. It was crowded but worth it!

I almost wrecked my second pair of sunglasses this trip while taking the photo under the arch by dropping them into the abyss. Somehow I managed to bobble them and not fall in or drop them 😅.

Above some other pics from around the park including a non-delicate (chonky) arch, the majestic Corolla, and a strange bug visitor.

Today I’m headed from Golden, CO into two back to back long haul drive days towards Milwaukee, WI. I’ll upload the rest of the CO photos from Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and Aspen when I arrive.
